Heifetz on Tour Residency Program: Live Performace

The Heifetz on Tour Residency Program is a collaboration between the JAC and the Heifetz International Music Institute. Since 2013, the program has brought world-class musicians to Rhode Island for a week of educational outreach and performances. While in Jamestown, Heifetz musicians provide free demonstrations and one-on-one collaborations with local school’s string and chorus programs. Musician’s also perform free special rehearsal performances for organizations serving adults with developmental disabilities and to the senior center. Evening musicales in various venues across Rhode Island further showcase the talents of these globally acclaimed young classical musicians, culminating in a final concert performance at the JAC.
