Best in Show winner is awarded a solo show in our small gallery during Members’ Show 2020
All work that meets the requirements will be hung in the show.
All current members of the Jamestown Arts Center may submit ONE piece.
New Memberships and renewals will be accepted during registration.
Membership Fees: $25 Senior /Student | $35 Individual | $50 Family
$15 Entry Fee
All media accepted.
All work MUST:
•Be original in concept and execution
•Have been completed in the last two years (2017 on)
•Be properly prepared for installation (all 2D work must be wired)
•Be labeled on the back with artist’s name, title, medium, price, and date
•Not have been shown previously at the Jamestown Arts Center
•Be available for the duration of the show
•Can NOT exceed 30″ in any direction – NO EXCEPTIONS
Work that weighs more than 50lbs will need special consideration, please call to discuss.
Work may or may not be for sale.
The JAC reserves the right to refuse any work it deems unfit for inclusion in a community arts center setting.
The JAC will take a 35% commission on work that is sold during the exhibit.
ARTWORK DROP OFF:
Friday, October 25th (10am – 3pm)
& Saturday October 26th (10am -2pm)
We can not accept any work delivered after 2pm on October 26th
(New Memberships and renewals will be accepted during registration)
OPENING RECEPTION: Friday, November 1st 6pm – 8pm
EXHIBITION DATES: November 1 – December 5, 2019
GALLERY HOURS: Wed. – Sat. 10am – 2pm, or by appt.
Friday, December 6th 10am – 4pm
& Saturday, December 7th 10am – 2pm
All artwork must be picked-up by 2PM on Saturday the 7th as there is an event in the gallery that evening.
You, or your representative, must be able to drop off and pick up during the times above.
