Learn practical, applicable life-skills and build your hand strength in this unique and fun Saturday afternoon Makers’ class! The “Do-It-Yourself” ethic means that anyone can learn without the help of a paid expert, and in today’s digital world, there’s an increased value in being able to accomplish things on your own. In this class, students will use simple hand tools to create a variety of projects out of wood and other common materials, and will start to see how the simple skills they learn can translate into their daily lives.
