Explore the world with your camera! In this introductory course geared for beginners and novices, or anyone wishing to sharpen their photo skill set, we will discuss camera exposure controls, metering for light conditions, and aesthetic decisions that will set you on the path to making better choices with your photography, as well as provide a strong foundation for further study and development. Students are required to bring their own camera- a digital camera with manual exposure controls is strongly recommended. We also briefly discuss computer usage as related to digital photography. The course consists of demonstrations, slide lectures and critiques of shooting assignments. Space is limited to 5 participants due to technology. Note: this class is for ages 18+ only! Please see Digital Photo: Teen for ages 12-18.
