Whether you consider yourself a beginner, intermediate, or experienced drawing student, most people spent a great deal of time drawing as small children and many people are eager to get back into drawing as adults. “Open Drawing Studio” is a new drop-in studio offering that welcomes teens and adults who are interested in drawing independently. Set-up your own still life, work from images, or straight from your imagination. Participants can work on any subject or concept they choose.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own supplies; however, a range of drawing tools and materials will be available for experimentation purposes including: graphite drawing pencils, charcoal, oil and chalk pastels, conte crayons, wax crayons, colored pencils markers, and watercolors. Please bring your own sketchbook and/or paper(s).
All levels welcome — No drawing experience necessary. No JAC prerequisites for Open Drawing Studio.
Drop-in visits are capped at 5/month, then translate to a monthly fee.
We are not yet offering Open Drawing Studio Hours on Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. Mondays only at this time.
Additional Printmaking and Ceramics Open Studio Hours: Wednesdays, Fridays, & Saturdays, 10:00am – 2:00pm
