The Jamestown Arts Center (JAC) announces it’s second open juried* collaboration show March 6, 2009. Create a 10 x 10 inch work of art that will be part of a collaborative mosaic reflecting the diverse talents of Jamestown and beyond.
Artists of all disciplines, ages, and abilities are encouraged to be a part of the show. Let your imagination run wild – express yourself!
Entries must be in a 10 x 10 inch format, framed or unframed, wired, and ready to hang at the Shock Gallery, 471 Conanicus Ave. (East Ferry), Jamestown.
Drop off: Wednesday, March 4th 10am-6pm at the Shock Gallery
Reception: Friday, March 6th 6-8pm at the Shock Gallery
Pick up: Monday, March 30th 12noon-6pm at the Shock Gallery
Entry per piece: Adult: $15, Member $10,Child under 18: $5
Family membership of $25 is optional, but encouraged, as well as donations towards the creation of the Jamestown Arts Center on South West Avenue.
* All entered work will be hung and juried by RISD graduate and professional artist Allison Newsome. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place best of show awards will be announced at the reception. Work may be for sale with a 60/40 artist/JAC split of sale.
