Spring Classes 2010

The Jamestown Arts Center will be sponsoring winter classes at the Jamestown Gallery located at 47 Conanicus Avenue, between the East Ferry Deli and Deb’s Beads.

Classes will include open studios, workshops, and weekly classes for:

Open figure drawing classes

Digital Photography classes with Cindy Wilson & Eileen Muldoon

Writing with Leslie Banker

Preschool drama with Lisa Kerr

Beading with Emily Coble

Beading with Dori Hirsch

Beaded jewelry making, drawing and photography for teens and adults, computer graphics and much more!

Pre School Education

Imagination Exploration with Lisa Kerr
Creative Drama for Pre-Schoolers and Their Care-givers

Become the character in a new adventure every week. Through storytelling, music, crafts and dramatic play, pre-schoolers will have the chance to engage their imaginations, make friends and play in this creative class. minimum 6, maximum 10 students.

Mondays 9-10am
Feb 22 - April 12, 2010 - student fee $65

Wednesdays 9-10am
Feb 25 - April 14, 2010 - student fee $65

Lisa Kerr is a graduate of the Trinity Repertory Conservatory in Prov., RI. Lisa has served as theater director and creative dramatics teacher in many schools and educational centers. She has has served as a program developer and teacher at the Providence Children's Museum and has collaborated on theater projects at the Thames Valley Music School, Southern Massachusetts Arts Collaborative, The Valley Stage Theater Company (MA), the All Children's Theater (RI), the Children's Museum of SE CT, and Mystic Seaport. Locally, Lisa teaches in the after school programs at Melrose and Lawn Avenue Schools and serves on the board of directors with the Jamestown Community Theatre.
