The Big Leap (15 min.) Directed by Kristoffer Rus. From Poland & Sweden. Three people meet at the top of a skyscraper with the same intention due to a major financial crisis. The three realize they each have a different conviction about the afterlife: a believer, an atheist and an uncertain agnostic. The only way to find out who’s right is to take the big leap. Dood van een Schaduw (Death of a Shadow) (20 min.) Directed by Tom Van Avermaet. From Belgium & France. A strange collector has imprisoned the shadow of Nathan, a soldier who died during World War I. When he is given the chance for a second life, it is his love of Sarah that guides him though what he finds will push him to a difficult decision with consequences attached.
