Richard Polsky

Jamestown Arts Center is proud to host New York City artist, Richard Polsky’s first New England exhibition.  Pulling from the rich vernacular of Abstract Expressionism, Mr. Polsky uses chop sticks, eyedroppers and brushes to create his rich, colorful paintings on hand-made Dieu Donné paper. A painter for forty years, Mr. Polsky creates compositions with a complex mixture of line, color and texture reminiscent of de Kooning, Krasner or Klee. The exhibition will feature some of this prolific artist’s most recent work.
